Andrew is a skilled music instructor in all aspects of performance & theory on Guitar. He has 15 years experience in private & group tuition to approximately 350 students, from beginner to advanced level and ranging from the ages of 6 to 40+.
Recognised international music instructor having taught annually at some of the biggest Irish & Celtic Music Festivals across the globe including: Milwaukee Irish Music Festival (USA), Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann (Ireland), National Folk Festival (Australia), Festival Interceltique de Lorient (France) and Caceres Irish Fleadh (Spain).
Andrew has vast experience teaching in multiple branches of Comhaltas Ceoltoirí Éireann; Cluain Tarbh CCÉ (2004 - 2008) and Craobh Piarais Uí Gréagáin (2009 - 2012).
He has also been employed as a music instructor in 3rd level Institutions; Marino College of Further Education, and Trinity College Dublin

Latest Performance with Aoife Scott on The Late Late Show
Andrew Meaney is an internationally renowned guitarist with over 15 years experience performing all over the world.
Having studied music in D.I.T. Andrew has gone on to perform on the world stage with Fergal O’Murchu’s widely acclaimed music and dance show “Ragús”. Andrew is a founding member of award winning band “Full Set”. Throughout his career Andy has enjoyed playing in some of the top venues in Ireland like the National Concert Hall, Liberty Hall, Vicar St and Whelans.
He has had the honor of performing numerous times for the Irish President in Áras An Uachtaráin and also performing with Eurovision song contest winner Eimear Quinn. Andy has also guested and played with various groups and appeared on some of irelands finest television and radio productions including RTE's The Late Late Show, TG4's Geantraí and has had multiple performances on RTE Radio 1 show Céilí house.
He would then go on to tour extensively with some of the biggest music and dance productions in Europe, America, Canada and Russia and performing in many of the worlds most prestigious theatres and arenas including the Kremlin Theatre in Moscow.
His input on Aoife Scott’s album created the sound of her debut single "All Along the Wild Atlantic Way" - with his guitar riff opening the entire album to lead into the songs.
He currently is Musical Director for Aoife Scott and has recently had a song he co-wrote reach #4 in the itunes chart in Ireland.
